ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE OPEN CALL

“96 HOURS OF MY CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL”

On December 10, the International Day of Human Rights is celebrated, and within the framework of the No Hate Speech Movement campaign, an Action Day is dedicated to raising public awareness of the importance of respecting human rights under the slogan “Human rights every day, everyone, everywhere.”

We can all contribute to the visibility and importance of the topic, even if our first step is just to share the logo and message on social networks.

In order to encourage young people to deal with the topic and to reflect about the importance of promoting and respecting human rights for everyone, every day and everywhere, Development Center for Youth from Belgrade and Association Intermedia from Blace, on the basis of the signed Cooperation Agreement, are jointly launching an open call, inviting young people to put their activism on social networks and daily time spent online at disposal of the promotion of HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL.

Under the open call “96 HOURS OF MY CONTRIBUTION TO THE PROMOTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS FOR ALL”, young people up to 30 years of age from the Republic of Serbia are invited to submit a contribution that will reflect their personal experience of the subject – human rights for all, through PHOTO, VIDEO CLIP up to 30 secunds long or SHORT STORY up to 1,500 characters long.

The contribution should be submitted to e-mail addresses: razvojnicentarzamlade@gmail.com and office@intermedia.org.rs, and a jury, consisted of members of the project teams of both associations, will select the winner, choosing the strongest message shared through one of the above mentioned forms of expression. Along with the contribution, personal data of the sender should also be submitted – name and surname, age and place of residence.

We will present all contributions on December 10 on the FB pages of Development Center for Youth and Association Intermedia, and the winner will be announced at the Annual Conference, which is being implemented by the Intermedia Association in Blace, on December 14, as part of their regular activities.

The winner will be part of a youth delegation that will visit Thessaloniki in early February 2018, getting a possibility to learn more on Greek experiences in the field of promotion and protection of the rights of young people, especially those ones related to active participation in social processes of importance for youth.
